Roman King
Roman King is the Creative Director for the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Since joining the league in 2019, he has spearheaded all creative efforts from the WNBA across television advertising, design, digital, brand marketing, and experiential. Some of his work at the WNBA includes launching the league’s rebrand, their 25th-anniversary campaign ‘Count It’ in 2021, the league’s first-ever short film We Are The W in 2022, and the league’s 2023 ‘More Than Game’ campaign. His work at the WNBA has been recognized by Ad Age, Adweek, the Clios, Ebony.com, Muse, MTV News, and the Webby Awards, among others.
His prior experiences include creative leadership roles in editorial and marketing at Rolling Stone, Philadelphia magazine, and Condé Nast, and he hails from the mountain state of West Virginia.
